Pediatric Interventional Radiologist Position

Austin Radiologic Association a 90+ member private radiology group seeks a second pediatric interventional radiologist to add to a 7 member pediatric section. We serve 18 hospitals, including Dell Children’s Medical Center and 5 level 3 and 5 level 2 NICU’s; and 15 ARA clinics including a Children’s Imaging Center.
We provide a full range of Pediatric IR services at DCMC with a thriving multidisciplinary Vascular Anomaly Clinic. Duties are primarily clinical, but also include teaching responsibilities for current programs and for the new Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin.

Faculty Pediatric Interventional Radiology
Nationwide Children’s Hospital; The Ohio State University
Nationwide Children’s Hospital (NCH) has a full-time faculty position for qualified candidates in pediatric interventional radiology who are also fellowship trained in pediatric radiology. We are looking to immediately expanding our IR section, in the areas of both clinical and research activity. Candidates should be competent in all pediatric interventional radiology procedures and clinical care. Due to recent needs, this position would have emphasis on continuing and advancing our state of the art and cutting edge care in sclerotherapy and musculoskeletal interventions although the candidate would participate in all IR care. There is some cross coverage with general pediatric radiology. Candidates should be board-certified, have completed fellowship training in pediatric radiology, have pediatric IR or IR fellowship training or comparable experience, and be should be CAQ subspecialty certified or eligible. Candidates would ideally have two or more years of faculty experience in an academic environment, an interest in vascular malformations and sclerotherapy treatment, and experience in research.

The Department of Radiology at NCH has 24 board certified pediatric radiologists, including 5 pediatric interventionalists and a pediatric IR NP for clinical care. The NCH Department of radiology provides the full spectrum of both pediatric diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology services with state-of-the-art equipment (> 5000 IR cases in 2014). IR equipment includes two Siemens rooms (1 Artis Q uniplane, 1 Artis Axiom biplane) and one GE Innova 4400 (Update approved for 2016). Each IR room has a dedicated Philips iu22 ultrasound machine. In addition to a busy clinical service, the faculty member will assist in education of medical students, residents, and fellows as well as participate in interdisciplinary conferences, research and scholarly activity. Call would be 1/6 solely at our institution.

Pediatric Vascular and Interventional Radiologist: UPDATED- September 2015. Saint Louis, Missouri
Saint Louis University, a Catholic, Jesuit institution dedicated to student learning, research, health care and services is seeking applications for a tenure or non-tenure track appointment in the Department of Radiology. Appointment is available at the level of Assistant/Associate Professor.
SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center is a 190-bed stand-alone pediatric hospital affiliated with St. Louis University School of Medicine and St. Louis University Hospital. It has a full-time faculty position available for a candidate that is board certified (or eligible) in Diagnostic Radiology with a CAQ (or CAQ eligible) in Interventional Radiology with a special interest in pediatrics. Additional fellowship training or equivalent in either Pediatric Interventional Radiology or Pediatric Radiology is preferred.
We are looking for a motivated physician to grow and expand our Pediatric Interventional Radiology program, and he/she will do so in a brand new radiology wing and new interventional radiology suite. Candidates should be comfortable with pediatric interventional radiology procedures and clinical management. Cross coverage (approximately 20%) and call responsibilities will be shared with either pediatric radiology or adult IR, depending on the candidate’s qualifications.
The candidate will be joining 4 board certified pediatric radiologists, 4 interventional radiologists, with additional subspecialty coverage in pediatric neuroradiology, musculoskeletal radiology, and cardiac imaging. In addition, we have an ACGME approved IR fellowship program.
Additional duties include education of the fellows, radiology residents, and medical students with participation in interdisciplinary conferences. Involvement with research is encouraged.

Vascular Interventional Faculty: University of Wisconsin-Madison
The Department of Radiology, University of Wisconsin-Madison, School of Medicine & Public Health is seeking a full time radiologist, interested in pursuing an academic career in vascular interventional at the rank of Assistant/Associate/Professor on the Clinician Teacher or CHS track preferably with both Vascular Interventional Radiology and Pediatric Interventional Radiology fellowship training. Expectations for this position entail leading Pediatric Interventional Radiology services in the American Family Children’s Hospital and also being a part of a busy adult interventional radiology service. Duties will include performing diagnostic angiography, endovascular interventions, embolization therapy, non-vascular interventional procedures, abscess, biliary drainage, percutaneous renal intervention, biopsies, and ablations in both pediatric and adult populations. Call responsibilities are shared and will be defined by staffing levels and assigned by the section chief. Teaching responsibilities will include medical students, residents, fellows and other department trainees as appropriate.
Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology, must be eligible to obtain a Wisconsin Medical License and must be certified or eligible for Vascular/Interventional Radiology subspecialty certificate (“CAQ”). Wisconsin Caregiver Law applies.
